What makes a secret boss of Deltarune a secret boss? Is it the shadow crystal? Some hidden designation in the code? The presence of a freedom motif?

For some reason people think I'm some kind of authority on this, which means, I have been drafted into this strange war I didn't know existed against my will. Guess I have to weigh in about it!
