История пана Гжегоша, на фоне смутных лет в Речи Посполитой от середины 17 века. В те роковые годы когда родина бигуса была охвачено войной с запорожскими казаками и русским царем, шведские полки брали Варшаву и Краков, а король Ян Казимир бежал за границу, казалось, что уже ничего не спасет это некогда могучее государство. Однако лихие годы предоставляли и возможности для смелого караванщика, рискнувшего поднять капитал и попытать удачу на службе короны польской. Это двухлетнее прохождение центральной кампании в Огнем и Мечом, по мотивам произведения Генрика Сенкевича "Потоп", в котором нам предстоит спасти (или добить) приятязания польского монарха на престол.
