What happened to The Long Drive? It's been 3 years since any main branch updates and now after a year of silence it's been shown that they're trying out a new engine for a potential re-build.
Why? Because the code is so messy on the unity version that they feel like they have no other choice.
Is it the end for The Long Drive? Clearly not, but it's going to be a while till we see anything from it.

This video is similar to that of a What Went Wrong style video. I didn't feel that the story was deep enough to turn it into a what went wrong, however I do feel that it was worth at least bringing together the top level timeline of what happened to a game that now sits in many people's libraries.
