Minecraft punishes casual players. I made a datapack to fix it.
You can find the datapack here: https://modrinth.com/datapack/matcha-flavoured
Special thank you to Ciren, for composing the “Golden” Music Disc. Seriously, Ciren, you’re amazing.
If you think YOU can make a killer music disc *or* would like to donate a track to the pack, email me!
If you think YOU can make better textures and would like to donate some for the pack, email me!
Mods I recommend using with the pack:
Easy Shulker Boxes
https://modrinth.com/mod/easy-shulker-boxes
Bundle Upgrade
https://modrinth.com/mod/bundle-upgrade
Ambient Sounds
https://modrinth.com/mod/ambientsounds
Cosy Critters & Creepy Crawlies
https://modrinth.com/mod/cosy-critters
Particle Rain
https://modrinth.com/mod/particle-rain
Better Clouds
https://modrinth.com/mod/better-clouds
These mods can be easily added and removed and I’ve had no issue loading a new version without
them. In other words, they seem to be ever-green, and when the authors stop updating them, you
don't have to worry about the mods corrupting your world upon removal.
Inspirational Artists & Works*¹*
Raspberry Flavoured - Raspmary
Go check out Raspmary’s modpack here: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/raspberry-flavoured
I really enjoyed my time with Raspberry Flavoured. I think the design and attention to the resource
economy and progression was stellar. Truly reworking the create mod into a brilliantly designed
progression. I can’t give this modpack more praise.
Electrum, Shakudo, Hepatizon, and Divine Fragments were directly inspired by this mod; plus
much more!
JermsyBoy
My resource pack was made to mirror JermsyBoy’s original texture pack as closely as possible. I
thought he did great work but unfortunately has since stopped developing the project. Further, the
textures had copyright protections on them, thus my pack was made to mimic it whilst still allowing
everyone to modify and steal textures as they wish.
His original texture pack: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/a-little-taste-of-jerm
He also has a youtube channel, and has some stunning builds: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCICnSwa3x5sHTWmTP6YO30w
MiziraGamez
Provided a framework for endless repairing (No XP cap)
You can find their datapack here: https://modrinth.com/datapack/repair-cost-remover
Gooporeal
Provided inspiration for the Lichen re-models I did
Their resource pack: https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/gooporeals-lichen
Vectorwing
Provided the inspiration for a lot of my textures

(Gorgeous work)
Rhythmic under PurpurMC
Provided a framework for looting shears.

Matt Colville
https://www.youtube.com/@mcolville
I realise Mr. Colville’s inspirations may not be obvious. Mr. Colville informed a lot of my design
philosophy. He, I think, introduced me to the idea that overpowered is a bad question, that we should
instead think about how much fun something is. I'm sure there's countless other things he informed, he
he certainly is a big reason I choose to still make art in spite of the challenges.
